Uncertainties

Today’s Scripture:
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
(Romans 8:26, NIV)

Quote of the day:

The Apostle Paul wrote nearly half of the books in the New Testament and was one of the greatest intelligent men of his time. But he always said he didn’t know what to pray for. He was content with his ignorance. He didn’t think it was a lack of faith to admit it. “I don’t have all the answers. I don’t know what to pray for.” There are things I’m unsure about, things I don’t understand, I don’t know how it works. The reason he said this, and that he didn’t have to worry about what he didn’t know, is his next two verses. All for those who love him. ”

Are you frustrated by things you don’t understand, don’t understand, and things that don’t seem to work? Have a new perspective. It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers, as long as you know the God who sits on the throne and makes everything work for you.

Prayer for today:

“Father, I thank You that You are the Supreme God and that You see all the uncertainties and unknowns that face me. Thank you for planning my life and making sure everything works out. I declare my peace and strength to be with you alone. Amen, in the name of Jesus. “
