Shovel the Dirt Off
Today’s Scripture:
Then he walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” he said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk!
(Luke 7:14–15, NLT)
Quote of the day:
How many times have you buried yourself alive? We tried, but the door to our dreams didn’t open. And now we’re pretty sure he’s dead. We bury the relationship. “Our marriage is over. We don’t understand each other.” We bury God’s promises. “I will never get better. I will never break my addiction.” But the good news is that God is about to awaken what you thought was dead.
The dreams you buried must be dug up again. Start believing again. You may say, “You can’t be cured” in any situation, but when you say, “Thank you, Dad, for restoring my health,” you shovel the dirt away. When thought tells you, “You’ve gone as far as you can,” turn it over and say, “Father, you say my last days will be better than my previous days.” how the dreams you buried come true
Prayer for today:
“Father, thank you for the dreams and promises and relationships you have placed in my heart. Know that you can awaken what I thought was dead by shovelling the dirt.” Thank you and I swear it’s never too late to see your dreams come true. Amen, in the name of Jesus. ”
