Sharper or Duller
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.
(Proverbs 27:17, NLT)
Word of the day:
Hey, my friend, friends should train you, make you better. Is this the case with your circle of friends? Whatever qualities your friends have, good or bad, they will eventually bore you or sharpen you. If you associate with gossip, compromise or greed, you will become like that. But if you associate with brilliant, generous people and motivated and successful people, these good qualities will sharpen your life. That’s why it’s so important to be selective about who you spend your time with.
Don’t worry about being in the right group, with the most friends, the most popularity. The number of friends doesn’t matter; The quality of your friends matters. You need eagles in your life – people who inspire you to achieve your dreams, people who push you further, and people who make you better. The truth is that you cannot reach your highest potential on your own. You need the right people to help you achieve your goals.
A prayer for today:
“Dad, thank you for the friends in my life who have inspired me, inspired me, encouraged me and made me better. Please help me know if relationships hurt. and paralyze me. I want to walk with the right people. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
