Say Goodbye

Say Goodbye

Today’s Bible:

The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people, and your father’s house, and go to the land I will show you.” I will make you into a great nation…”
(Genesis 12:
1–2, NIV)

Word of the day:

God told Abraham to leave his family and move to another country. I’m sure he loves the people close to him. For a time, everything went well, but as God prepared to do something new and great for Abraham, He knew that the people and things around him would try to stop him. him from what He had placed in his heart. Sometimes you have to leave some things behind to be all you were made to be. Is there something you need to leave behind: a wound, a bad attitude or an area where you are compromising? Don’t bring that into the new year. These things belong to your 2022, but they don’t belong to 2023. You can’t go through life with hurts, bad attitudes, and people who aren’t good for you. Say goodbye to failure; Today is a new day. Say goodbye to guilt; you are forgiven. Say goodbye to what went wrong; God has something better. It will be a generous, rich and flourishing year.

A prayer for today:

“Father, thank you for calling me to follow You and to follow Your guidance in my life. Thank you for being able to say goodbye to all the negative baggage that comes from failures, past guilt and blame. I look forward to the new things You are doing in my life this year. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.”
