Put on God’s Labels

Put on God’s Labels;

“Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach…”
(Isaiah 54:4, NIV)

Word of the day:

Hey, my friend, you might be living with shame because something happened to you that wasn’t even your fault. You may have been abused as a child. Someone took advantage of you. The enemy will twist things and try to convince you that it’s your fault. Don’t believe these lies. If someone insults you, it’s not your problem; the problem is with them. God saw what happened, and He says you will forget the shame. He will make your life so blessed, so rewarding, and so complete that you won’t remember the humiliation.

Now do your part and forgive those who have offended you. As long as you keep thinking about it, you allow them to keep hurting you. Let it go. What they did to you didn’t change your identity. Remove the label that says “Damaged” and stick some of God’s labels, such as “Approved”, “Approved”, “Precious”, and “Masterpiece”. God will take your scars and turn them into stars.

A prayer for today:

“Father, I thank you for freeing me from any sense of shame about what happened to me in the past. Thank you for making my life so blessed and rewarding that I won’t even remember shame or humiliation. I declare that I have put a new label on what You call me. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
