Pull Down and Root Out
Today’s Scripture:
See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant. (Jeremiah 1:10, NKJV)
Word of the day:
Why do we often let our imagination run wild with negative and depressing images? We imagine the worst-case scenario things don’t go as planned and that it will never work. Why not start letting your imagination run wild? Imagine you will fulfill your dreams, live long and healthy, climb higher, succeed and go places you never dreamed of.
In today’s scripture passage, notice the order. Before you can build, plant, and see it grow, before things turn around, you must cut down and uproot. As with Jeremiah, God has for you a place of victory where you will reign over all that stands in your way, but you must eliminate all false fantasies and uproot all negative images. pole. You cannot allow bad imagination to play all the time. It’s the only thing holding some people back. Start channeling to what God has to say about you in His Word. What He promised, He will fulfill.
A prayer for today:
Father, thank you for giving me the imagination to help me stay positive and full of hope and faith. Thank you for the images in my mind that remind me of the promises you made to me. I believe that I will overcome all obstacles. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.”
