Overcoming Weariness
Today’s Scripture:
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
(Isaiah 40:31, NKJV)
Quote of the day:
Fatigue comes to everyone. When you succumb to fatigue, you lose your passion, strength, and determination to put up a good fight. You can’t soar like an eagle by thinking negatively. If you focus on the problem and think about how impossible something is, you won’t run or get tired. What renews your strength when you live with the expectation that God is in control and when you have the hope that God will work in your life?
You may face exhausting situations, but God has given you the strength to fight. He says never face something you can’t handle. Stop telling yourself it’s too much and start embracing its power. That cancer, legal troubles, or your financial situation is not right for you. If you keep your faith, God will not only renew the strength you need, It will soar like
Prayer for today:
“Father, I thank you for your promise that while I wait for you, you will renew my strength and allow me to fly with wings like those of an eagle. Shake off fatigue and embrace your power. I declare that you have armed me for battle and I will overcome any situation. In the name of Jesus, Amen. ”
