Today’s Bible:

“Therefore, I will give you back the years that swarms of locusts devoured. »
(Joel 2:
25, NKJV)

Word of the day:

In today’s scriptures, the Israelites planted and cultivated their crops, but for many years at harvest time, the locusts swarmed like a mighty army and ate up the crops. We’ve all gone through periods in our lives where we feel like we’ve wasted our time. Maybe it was the years lost in a failed relationship or the years battling illness or addiction. Or these are the years when we let fear and resistance stop us from pursuing our dreams. Maybe we weren’t raised in a healthy environment, and we feel like we’ve lost our childhood and will never get it back. But God says he will give you those years back.

While it is true that we cannot by nature restore time, we serve a supernatural God who knows how to make up for a lost time. It doesn’t just restore the years you lost. He promises you abundant joy, peace, and resources for what should be yours.

A prayer for today:

“Father, thank you for nothing is too difficult for you to work on in my life, including the time that I have wasted in the past for various reasons. Thank you for working in a way beyond anything I could have thought or imagined. Help me to believe that You will restore what I have lost. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Have a recovery Wednesday.
