God Is Love
Today’s Scripture:
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
(1 John 4:16, NIV)

Sometimes religion tells us: If you don’t do the right thing if you don’t do it right, God has nothing to do with you. If you are good enough and can measure yourself, God will help you.” That is not true love. This is conditional love. True love isn’t about what you’ve done or what you’ve done or haven’t done. It’s about who God is and what he has already done. All you can do is not make him like you more or less. he just loves you
When you know that God is love and trust His love for you, you will confidently go to Him. You will pray boldly, ask Him for your dreams, believe that your health will turn around, expect new doors to open, and rise to the next level – for who you are. Not for who your father is. Once you receive his love, you will stop wanting to be good enough. You know he will do anything to make you feel good.
Prayer for today:
“Father, thank you for loving me because you are love. It’s not just what you do, it’s who you are. To get your love or I appreciate not having to clean myself up to make you love me more. I receive your love and expect you to show yourself in my life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
