Grace Abounds

God has made us new in Christ, but He will not remove all negative desires that will never again tempt you into irritability, judgment, rudeness, anger, jealousy, or compromise. . Some hold themselves back for years with the same personal enemies: bad attitudes, addictions, and unforgiveness. Everyone struggles with some wrong desire, but don’t make excuses for it, just let it be. That is why the Apostle Paul says, “I die every day,” and, “If this temptation should arise again, I will immediately return it to the grave.”
God’s abundant grace is here. You have the grace to overcome. The temptation may never be completely gone, and the thirst may be there, but God’s grace, the enabling power, is always greater than anything that tries to stop you. His grace outweighs critical attitudes and addictions. As you deal with what is holding you back, God will unlock your beauty.

“Father, I thank You for working in me and Your grace abounding in me. Thank You for giving me the strength to overcome and the discipline to do what is right. I believe that your power in me is greater than the power against me. Amen, in the name of Jesus. ”
