Equipping for Success
…may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.
(Hebrews 13:21, NLT)
We all have dreams God has put in our hearts, and goals we want to accomplish, but too often we get discouraged by the equipping process. It’s taking longer than we thought, we’ve had setbacks, and somebody did us wrong. But if you keep the right attitude, every struggle, every disappointment, and every delay is depositing something in you. It’s making you stronger, developing your character, and equipping you for what God wants you to do.
God knows what’s in your future. He knows what it’s going to take to keep you there. You may not understand why you’re in a lonely season, a frustrating season, or a stagnant season, but everything you go through is to grow you up to do His will. God wouldn’t have allowed it if it wasn’t a part of the process. Without it, you couldn’t give birth to what He put in you. If you keep passing the test, doing the right thing, giving, serving, and loving, your time is coming. What God promised you will come to pass.
A Prayer for Today:
“Father, thank You for the dreams You put in my heart. Thank You that You are equipping me and empowering me to accomplish all of Your promises. I believe that the preparation process that You are taking me through will take me to where You want me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
