Daily verse:
Then Balak’s anger burned against Balaam. He struck his hands together and said to him, “I summoned you to curse my enemies, but you have blessed them these three times.” (Numbers 24:10, NIV)
Word of the day:
King Balak of the Moabites gave a great deal of money to a prophet named Balaam to curse the Israelites. But God said to Balaam, “What I have blessed, you cannot curse.” As Balak continued to pressure Balaam, not only did Balaam refuse, but God made him begin to bless the Israelites so that they would succeed and do great things.
Note that when God gives you commanded blessings, it doesn’t matter what others say or do. All that matters is the Creator of the universe blesses you, and all else is in vain. They can talk about losing all day, but here’s the key:
they are powerless to change the blessings in your life. When the enemy tries to curse your future with negative words and negative thoughts, do like Balaam. Start prophesying victory, prophesying favour, prophesying health, prophesying abundance. As you walk in obedience, God’s blessings will follow you and come to you.
A prayer for today:
“Father, I thank you for the commanding blessing you have given my life because I belong to you. Thank you for your blessing that will triumph over any force that tries to hold me back. . I believe that if I continue to honour you, your blessings will pursue me and surpass me. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
