Consider Your History:
…for they still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Their hearts were too hard to take it in.
(Mark 6:52, NLT)
Word of the day:
In today’s scripture, the disciples have just seen Jesus feeding about 15,000 people, one of the greatest miracles ever recorded. A few hours later, they were caught in a night storm on a boat on the lake and were terrified until they got on board, the wind and waves extinguished instantly. The Bible tells us that they were worried because “they neither noticed nor understood the miracle of the multiplication of loaves”. If they only remember what God has done, then they will remain in the faith.
Do you let your circumstances, a medical report, or your financial situation make you live in anxiety? Why don’t you start looking at your miracles? You have a history with God. Remember when God appeared and suddenly turned the tide. Every victory He gives you isn’t just for that moment; it’s so you can go back and use it as fuel to build your faith. If you run out of faith, go back for gas. It is in your past victories.
A prayer for today:
“Father, I thank you for the history I have with you and for the mercy, you have shown in my life. Thank you for remembering every victory you have given me and using it. it fuels to build my faith. I believe you have the final say on Everything in Jesus’ name, Amen.
