Clean House

Clean House.

Writing today:

Asa behaved well before God and revived the ways of his ancestor David. He cleaned his house and threw away all the idols made by his predecessors.
(1 Kings 15;11-12, MSG)

Quote of the day:

King Asa took the throne of Judah and boldly removed the idols and pagan altars that his predecessor had allowed. He put an end to what was holding Judas to prosperity. When an army of millions attacked Judah, Asa asked God for help. The Lord defeated his army and left Judah with much spoils.

Need house cleaning? Are you leaving things that you know are bad? You have to stop it before it stops you. You may need to let go of anger, jealousy, bitterness, and judgment. Get rid of it and God will take you to a new level. He makes things happen that you never could. Sometimes we think that external things are holding us back, but if we look inward and get rid of what we know is not the best, we can see God in a new way. You can see grace.

Prayer for today:

“Father, thank you for taking a bold step to remove what I need to remove from my life. To remove what needs to be removed by breaking everything down because I cannot do it alone.” I am asking for your help in Help me clean the house. Amen, in the name of Jesus. ”
