Blossoms Overnight

Blossoms Overnight;

Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses went into the tabernacle of witness, and behold, the rod of Aaron, of the house of Levi, had sprouted and put forth buds, had produced blossoms and yielded ripe almonds.
(Numbers 17:8, NKJV)

Words for today:

In Numbers 17, when the people questioned the authority of Moses and Aaron as rulers, God commanded Moses to take the rods of the rulers. ruled over all the tribes of Israel and placed them in the tabernacle, where God was present. These sticks are old sticks, pieces of dead wood. The next morning, Aaron’s stick germinated, flowered, and even produced seeds. This flowering dead tree is proof of God’s rulers. God can change what seems dead overnight, whether it’s your marriage, your dreams, or your financial situation. You may think it will take years to mend, restore a relationship, or detox. Only God knows how to speed it up with a reasonable pause, a phone call, or an idea. Suddenly, suddenly, God can change that overnight. Don’t believe lies that will never change. What you think is dead, God said, “I can still make it bloom.” You can still become the person you were made to be.

A prayer for today:

“Father, I thank you for the dreams and desires you have placed in my heart. Thank you for rekindling my faith and knowing that you can revive what I thought was dead. It’s never too late to make your child’s dreams come true because it’s up to you to say the last word In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
