A Full Day’s Wage

A Full Day’s Wage

A Full Day’s Wage;

When those hired at five o’clock were paid, each received a full day’s wage.(Matthew 20:9, NLT)

Word of the day:

Jesus told a parable in Matthew 20 about a landowner who employed people to work in his vineyard. He hired the first group at 9 a.m. and they agreed to work for pay all day. He hires other groups around noon, three o’clock, and five o’clock. That evening, the employer, representing God, paid each worker a day’s salary, even those who worked only an hour. Some workers complained that it was not fair. The owner said, “I paid you what we agreed to. It was my money. Don’t blame me for my kindness.”

You may feel like you’re starting late, missing opportunities, and making mistakes, but God doesn’t cut your pay. If you just show up and do what you know you have to, He will release all the wages He has accumulated in the past – blessing, favour, mercy, healing, and freedom. . It’s just God’s goodness. Get it today. You will always receive everything He has promised.

A prayer for today:

Father, thank you for your kindness and kindness and the many blessings you have accumulated for me. Thank you that when I put you first and honour you, blessings will be given no matter how late I start. I believe I will get all that you promised. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
